Complete Auto Repair is proud to offer our chassis dyno service to meet your performance and drivability needs.   Our Mustang 1100 Chassis Dyno is a state of the art tool that enables us to maximize your vehicle’s performance potential as well as provide you with accurate data on your vehicles present performance.

Complete Auto Repair also offers racing fuel and NOS on site to meet your performance needs.

Power Baseline Acceleration Pull Package - This package is suited for the customer who wants to measure the baseline performance of their vehicle as stock, or before future performance modifications are performed. Included printed dyno graphs can also be used for future reference.

*Each additional acceleration pull after the initial three is $15.00/ea.

*Simulated ¼ Mile runs are available @ $25.00/ea($35.00 Diesel) for vehicles with 500 or less horse power at rear wheels.  If your vehicle is above 500 h/p ask for pricing.

Diagnostic Baseline Dyno Session - This chassis dyno session is designed for the customer who has already completed performance modifications to their vehicle and would like to gauge where the engine's air/fuel ratio is and to measure rear wheel horsepower before a dyno tuning session begins. Air/fuel sampling is taken directly from the header pipe to insure total AFR graphing accuracy.

·         AFR sensor bung, plug and installation labor

·         Graphing of the engine's air/fuel ratio graphically or numerically

Chassis Dyno Rental (w/out graphing) - This rental option is designed for individuals or companies that wish to rent the chassis dyno only for product testing or for diagnostic purposes such as tracking down an elusive drive-train noise or simulating a road driving condition without actually driving on the road. This service is especially useful to service technicians in the auto repair industry that need to emulate actual road driving conditions to accurately and swiftly diagnose and repair problem vehicles right the first time. (Vehicle service is not permitted by the individual or technician while vehicle is at CAR)

Chassis Dyno Rental (with graphing) - This option is designed for individuals or companies that wish to test and gauge a particular product's performance or an engine combination that they have assembled. This is very useful for those who wish to make ECM/PCM calibration changes themselves so that they can measure the power output of their vehicle's engine after the change has been made. (Vehicle service by the individual or technician is limited to electronic calibration changes only while at CAR)

Option 1:  Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Graphing (from tailpipe) - This option is available as a dyno test add-on for the customer that wishes to monitor and measure the air/fuel ratio of their vehicle's engine from the exhaust tailpipe. Option 1 is especially useful for those customers who have special exhaust systems or high performance exhaust component coatings that they do not want disturbed by the installation of our AFR sensor bung.  Be aware that this option is for vehicles without catalytic converters, vehicles with converters will need bung installed to accurately read AFR.

Option 1 Includes:

·         Engine exhaust sampling via a probe placed in the tailpipe

·         Graphing of the engine's air/fuel ratio graphically or numerically

·         Saved AFR information on your floppy disc

·         One time charge per package or test session

Option 2:  Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Graphing (from header pipe) - This option is available as a dyno test add-on for the customer that wishes to monitor and measure the air/fuel ratio of their vehicle's engine more accurately than option 1 by sampling exhaust from the header pipe. The closer the wideband oxygen sensor is to the engine, the more accurate the corresponding AFR measurement will be.

·         Engine exhaust sampling via our AFR sensor installed in the header pipe

·         AFR sensor bung, plug and installation labor

·         Graphing of the engine's air/fuel ratio graphically or numerically

Option 3:  0 to 50 psi of boost - This option is of particular benefit to vehicles that are not normally aspirated.   We are capable of data logging boost pressures through power pulls or ¼ mile simulations.

Option 4:  0 – 100 PSI Fuel Pressure Data-Logging – This option is available to customers that wish to data-log fuel pressure during their dyno sessions.  Due to the many different configurations, ask you service advisor for pricing.

Option 5:   Exhaust Gas Temperature- This option is offered to customers that wish to data log exhaust temperature.  We are capable of up to two readings.  Check with your service advisor for pricing. 

Option 6:   Oil Temperature- We have the capability of data logging your crankcase oil temperature.

Option 8:  5 Gas Analyzer- Complete Auto Repair is the only facility in West Texas providing this service. 

EFI Vehicle Dyno Tuning - This option is designed for individuals that have completed performance modifications to their vehicle and request that CAR write a custom, accurate and powerful ECM/PCM calibration that maximizes the power output and drivability of the vehicle's combination. We perform 90% of the testing and tuning of the vehicle on the chassis dyno and finalize the remaining 10% of drivability in real world testing by driving the vehicle on the road.

Carbureted Vehicle Dyno Tuning - This option is designed for individuals that have completed performance modifications to their vehicle and request that CAR tune and dial in their combination to deliver the excellent drivability and maximum performance that dyno tuning will deliver.

Carbureted Dyno Tuning/Hr. Includes*:

·         Free vehicle hook-up and disconnection

·         Unlimited, accurate chassis dyno pulls with AFR sensor use

·         Printed, air/fuel ratio graphs both graphically and numerically

·         Printed, power output graphs both graphically and numerically

·         Correct adjustment of float levels, idle mixture, WOT throttle opening, Idle speed, choke, fast idle cam, part throttle jetting, main jetting, ignition timing and valvetrain.

Group Dyno Rental - This option is designed for car clubs and groups of individuals that would like to rent the dyno for the day, which makes the dyno rental cost per customer cheaper as they divide the rental cost among the attending members. Any number of vehicles may attend and prizes will be awarded to the person who has the most powerful vehicle of the day.

·         8 hours of chassis dyno rental time

General Shop Labor Rate
$83.00/hr.

NOTE: Any parts, chemicals, lubricants, hardware or components used by CAR to successfully complete the dyno session will be additional.

Any vehicle on the chassis dyno that is need of repair or modification to complete a successful tuning session will be subjected to an additional charge of the regular shop labor rate to correct the problem before dyno tuning can commence.
